| iBurst
Overview iBurst is a mobile broadband service being
rolled out across Australia by a licensed carrier called Personal
Broadband Australia Pty Ltd. It delivers 1 Mbps download,
and 346 Kbps upload data rates today, even when you are moving at speeds of 100
kph. The next version of this service will provide 2 Mbps per user. And
iBurst is available at prices comparable to fixed line broadband services. Interestingly,
Australians were the first people in the world to benefit from this unique service,
because, unlike the authorities in other countries, the Australian Communications
Authority auctioned 3G spectrum suitable for data communications separately from
that used for mobile voice telephony. Personal Broadband
Australia secured the unpaired spectrum in the 1905-1910 MHz band to launch the
iBurst service. In essence, iBurst is the technology for
communicating over the air interface, or the last mile, to your computing device. So,
if you want to securely access your private business network from anywhere, or
simply access the Internet, you should have a look at iBurst.

Overview whitepaper from Arraycomm Ltd, or go to Kyocera's iBurst
site.
